Quick Sandwich Tip

Image
Hello everyone. :) Today, I am going to share some tips for making a sandwich that I really like. Those of you who are used to highly seasoned and/or fried foods may not like this sandwich at first, but then again...maybe you will. :) Here is the "recipe". Step 1. 1. Cut up drained extra firm tofu into little strips. 2. Cut up a fresh tomato into small pieces. 3. Mash an avocado into "avocado butter". 4. Cut up a red onion into small strips. Step 2. 1.  Spread your avocado butter onto one slice of bread. 2. Put your tofu strips, fresh tomato pieces and red onion strips on top.  3. Put another piece of bread on top. 4. Enjoy! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Photo credit:  Photo by  cottonbro  from  Pexels   https://www.pexels.com/photo/food-hands-chef-kitchen-4057678/

Object Lessons From My Cat

Image
Our family cat, Beulah, is a nice cat. She is social and affectionate and she is a great hunter. She is a great mouser, which is most appreciated by us.🐭🐱 Beulah recently taught me some lessons about the Christian life, and I want to share them with you. In a parable that Jesus told in which He referred to Himself as a Shepherd and to us as sheep, He said that His sheep hear His voice and that they know Him.( John 10:27 (KJV) https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/John-10-27/ .) My cat, Beulah, knows that I am one of her owners. She knows that I care about her. One day during these past two or three weeks, a large cat, so large that I wondered if it might be a bobcat, came to our back porch where Beulah commonly goes. I did not think that he meant my cat well. Beulah was just recovering from a large gash on one of her legs, and I begin to wonder if this large cat hadn't been the one who had given her the gash. I went out on the back porch, clapped my hands together and shouted, &qu

Planning a Trip on a Tight Budget

Image
Hello everyone, Today I will be sharing a few budgeting tips that the Lord taught me as I was preparing to attend a youth conference a year and a half ago. Planning to attend this conference was a total faith venture; I did not have the money to go, but I was confident that if God wanted me to go He would provide... and He did. I was able to fund raise much of the money, and a loving relative volunteered to give me a good sum that helped me to be able to go. I almost was not able to go, but at the last minute, when I had almost decided that I would not be able to go due to a lack of funds, the Lord brought everything together for me. The conference was exactly what I needed and it forever changed my life. The Lord taught me some amazing budgeting tips through this experience that I want to share with you today. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. It is important to think about all of your expen

The History and Future of Our Earth

Image
" 1 (A Psalm of David.) The earth  is  the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. " Psalm 24:1-2 (KJV) https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Psalms-Chapter-24/ “ In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. " Genesis 1:1 (KJV) https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Genesis-Chapter-1/ The earth is God’s. He created it, as well as all of the human beings who live in it. (Genesis 1:26-27 https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Genesis-Chapter-1/ ). When God created human beings, He gave them “dominion” over the whole earth (Genesis 1:26-28). This dominion was not to be an abusive one. God put man in the garden of Eden “to dress it and keep it” (Genesis 1:15). If we read further on in the Bible, we can see how God wants us to treat animals as well. “A righteous  man  regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked  are  cruel. ” Proverbs
