You Are Loved

You are loved. Jesus places a HIGH value on you...no matter how bad or how good you have been, no matter what you look like, where you are from, what your family is like, what other people say about you etc. The Bible helps us to understand how much Jesus loves us. Here are a list of the scriptures I read during this devotional talk: 1. Psalm 103:8-13 2. Romans 6 verse 23 3. John 3 verse 16
4. Isaiah 53: 3-4, 6, 11-12
5. Philippians 2:5-11 6. Hebrews 12:2-3 For those who don't know, the Pharisees were religious leaders during the time of Jesus. They had departed from God's pure faith, trust and love, and were legalistic, hypocritical and unloving towards others. If you read the gospels, you will see that the Pharisees did not like Jesus (not all of them disliked him). Even so, Jesus LOVED the Pharisees. He did have to use tough love with them many times and especially when He gave them the seven woes (Matthew 23), but oh how He loved them! Nicodemus, whom I mentioned in this devotional, was a Pharisee. Photo credit: https://www.pexels.com/photo/close-up-of-tree-against-sky-255441/
